Color Code Your Way to Calm
Hey everyone!
This week's Solution Saturday is all about the magic of color coding. Color coding is an easy and functional way to organize your home. There are multiple benefits to color coding, including:
Quickly locate items
Calming to the eye
No cost-only a few minutes of your time
The best way to approach color coding is to organize working left to right, light to dark. Begin by arranging white items on the left side, and then continue with warm colors (yellow, orange, red), cool colors (blue, green, purple), and finish with dark colors (brown and black). For a light shade of a color, grey or pink, arrange from light to dark within the color range. For example, pink should be to the left of red and grey to the left of the black.
You can apply color technique to anything in your home, including: clothes, books, kitchen items, or any miscellaneous objects you need organized. Color coding is also a great way to organize personal files. Remember, it's always about what works best for you and your home.
Here are some examples of using the color technique:
Take a few minutes this weekend and apply the color technique to an area in your home!
Happy Saturday and happy organizing!
Best,
